Paris Attitude Agency

I’m planning to move to Paris in the coming months. I’ve been looking into the housing issue and it’s just too difficult to get an apartment before I relocate to Paris that I’ve resolved to go for short term rental option before I sign a long term lease. I’m in touch with Paris Attitude, an agency which apparently seems to be “the leader in furnished apartment rentals in Paris”. Has anyone used their services ? Can any person on here tell me more about their pricing and customer relation guys?

All agencies listing long-term rentals include hefty service fees and the money must usually be paid up front, as someone mentioned. If you can afford to spend this amount of money, there are other agencies which don't charge quite as much in fees and can provide better service than Paris Attitude does. I used PA when I first moved here, and did not have a good experience, but you always have to deal with the owner - rather than the listing agency - after you arrive. Since many owners live in other countries, it's really difficult to know how to choose.

If you Google "location appartement longue-duree", you should come up with other agencies. Most of them are furnished and well-maintained.

It's extremely difficult to try to rent an apartment in Paris if you are not working legally here, do not have a French bank account, do not pay taxes in France and cannot prove that you make 4 times the monthly rent. Priority will always be given to French students, couples and families with children.

A few days before I moved in, I got a reminder email to coordinate a time with the apartment owner and although I ended up being nearly an hour late, he was there waiting for me and genuinely happy to welcome me into his home. The owner waived the security deposit requirement and explained how to use everything before he left. Check out was equally painless, the owner was exactly on time, allowing me to get to the airport. Great experience!

Oh yeah and one more thing. I'm not sure if the company had a massive reorganization since the previous reviews in 2011 but my experience renting a studio apartment for a week long vacation was fantastic!

The Paris Attitude website functions really well to browse apartments by location, budget, etc. and it was very easy to apply for one listed as available. After the application process, I received a prompt response from the agency with instructions for the reservation, payment, and contact information for the apartment owner. They were very timely with my follow up questions and provided copies of everything in French and English which was helpful.

I rented two apartments in Paris in May based on the pictures and conditions listed in the website. The only thing that people should be awared of is sometimes the owners might not speak English, don't have email ... and you have to do the correspondence in French so it's better to ask and get help from PA if possible.

I've used Paris Attitude a few times and have always been very satisfied. Listings are accurately described and agents have been very helpful and responded in a very timely manner to my questions. It might be helpful to keep the availability of listings more up to date...would save some time.

Also there is one thing you should know, carine100. You will have to pay the 20-30% fee to Paris Attitude and then 50% deposit to the owner of the apartment. You will have to pay these fees upfront. It may sound scary to give almost the entire amount before getting there but this is typically how it's done.

I have heard some people saying that the fees are too high and regarding this, they may be considered high but these fees are calculated in the price of the rental which I found the overall cost of the rental to be very reasonable to downright a great deal.

I will surely contact them in the near future.. I searched for this kind of information on their facebook page and website but I couldn't find anything. Calling an agent will resolve this tiny issue for sure!

When talking about pricing it always helps to visit their facebook page and site but what is even more helpful is to contact them by email, fax or phone. I think calling them would be a great idea. ;) Also as far as I am concerned, the pricing is perfect for a person with an average income.

To be fully honest, I don't know too much about pricing when it comes to their services. But, you should Google them or you can find out from the link provided up on the first thread of this page. That said, I’m not sure they’re the cheaper than the others on the market but I think they’re not the most expensive either.

First of all I want to say that I find it so wonderful that you respond so quickly and honestly to the main question. Talking about this agency, I contacted it before I moved to Paris and they managed to get me a furnished apartment in a very short time. I have to say that the price of the rent was a little higher than what I have now but, I guess this is because of the furnished side of the thing. Furnished apartments are actually a great option for those who don’t have housing when they move to Paris. Even if you don’t go for this particular agency, you may still need to consider renting a furnished apartment.

Regarding the user with the furniture missing, I am pretty sure that it was a mistake from them, which is a bad experience for the customer and lost Business for the agency. I have been using this agency for more than 8 years for holidays (My sister lives in Paris) and I have to say that their service has been amazing. All I want to say is that you shouldn't change your mind just because they had one bad day. :)

When I called them it was pretty much a surprise for them as they thought I already knew about that. I told them way too many times that this information was not shown anywhere and I wanted to change! Well, they ended up giving me another apartment in that same neighborhood but this was the last thing I really wanted to go through.

I am sorry to disappoint some of you, guys but my experience was far from being a good one. I got the apartment #2351 in the North of Paris and I had the awful surprise when I found out that it had almost no furniture at all. There was nothing like this specified on their website so I had to call back to the agency’s customer service.. In the end, they found me another apartment. I was really tired after a 12 hours flight. All I needed was to rest but this situation kind of shocked me a little bit.

Right now I have an apartment in Paris but I was pretty lucky to get one for sure. A few years ago I had to get in touch with this agency and the result was not bad but certainly not the best. The rooms in my apartment were a little too small for me and the kitchen was not as described previously but all in all for a start in a different country it wasn't that bad.

To be honest I was a little skeptical about this Paris Attitude agency but after a few days in this wonderful city I got rid of my entire skepticism. The apartment was amazing, big rooms, a lot of space, all the utilities and most of all in my opinion: the view was absolutely astonishing! No need to worry about a thing when talking about this agency! ;)

I could go on and on when talking about this agency but I usually prefer to go straight to the point. I wanted to rent an apartment in Paris when Priscilla Huste contacted me and made my trip one of the best I have ever had!

I contacted Paris Attitude a few years ago as well and I have to say: everything was absolutely amazing! The apartment I received was situated between two metro stations which was great for me. The apartment itself was really cozy in my opinion, good for all kinds of visitors! So if you are looking for an advice.. Go ahead without any doubt!
